Your letters are needed!

The present form of the Stewart Horse Camp Prospectus is ill conceived, and the general consensus among equestrians and many informed others is that the Prospectus should be temporally withdrawn.

In you letter please REQUEST that the National Park Service (NPS) temporally withdraw the Prospectus and consult the expertise of local equestrian groups, especially the Marin Horse Council, to craft a revised versionof the Prospectus that will be fair to all equestrians campers.

From speaking to Kevin McKay, NPS Special Use Permit Ranger/Coordinator, he recommends to send your comments in forms of questions so that they can be answered by the NPS staff. The dead line to voice your concerns is October 16th, 2007 but he advises us to send them much earlier.  SFHA advises you to send your letter as soon as possible and no latter than October 1st, 2007.

Thank you for taking the time to read the following information. SFHA hopes you will take the initiative to write a letter to the officials listed below asking them to withdraw the Prospectus pending input of equestrians at an open meeting.
